Terms of Use
Effective 9 July 2026
Shalom is offered free of charge, in the hope that it helps you build a daily rhythm with Scripture. By using it you agree to these simple terms.
What Shalom provides
Scripture passages are quoted from the World English Bible, a public-domain translation. The explanations, insights, and reflections around them are AI-assisted devotional aids written in Shalom’s voice. They are offered for encouragement and understanding — they are not professional, pastoral, or counselling advice, and they are not a substitute for reading Scripture yourself or for the counsel of your church community.
Your part
Use Shalom as it is intended: personally and lawfully. Don’t attempt to disrupt the service, probe its infrastructure, or misuse other people’s data.
Service, as it is
Shalom is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Features may change, pause, or end as the app grows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Your data
How your information is handled is described in the privacy page. It is part of these terms.
