About Shalom

Shalom is a daily Bible companion built around one belief: peace begins with understanding. Each day it offers a short passage, a plain explanation, one truth about God, and one small step to carry into your day — five to eight minutes, complete in itself.

What it is — and isn’t

Shalom is a guided daily rhythm, not a content library. It is not a replacement for your own reading of Scripture, and it is not a replacement for church or community. A missed day is never held against you; Shalom welcomes you back, every time.

The Scripture and the words around it

Every passage is quoted from the World English Bible (WEB), a public-domain translation, and always labeled with its reference so you can read it in full context yourself. Explanations and reflections are AI-assisted and edited to Shalom’s calm, plain voice. They exist to help understanding — they are not a substitute for Scripture, and Shalom deliberately stays in the grace-filled centre of the faith, away from denominational debate.
